Overview
In this project we study online social interactions and how they shape society. Our team brings together researchers from both computer science and political science. Particular areas of interest include but are not limited to:
- Measuring and understanding political polarization on social media
- The impact of polarization on COVID-19
- Party and ideology prediction for social media users
- Detecting and understanding impacts of malicious users (bots, trolls) and coordinated groups
- Misinformation detection
